Masturbating Man Arrested In Sinatra Park, Hoboken Police Say
The man was taken to Hoboken police headquarters, "where he continued his illegal behavior in front of officers," police said.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A Union City man was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 28 after allegedly masturbating in front of people at a Hoboken waterfront park, police said.
Jose Vasquez, 35, was charged with three counts of criminal sexual contact, said the Hoboken police.
Police said that around 7:05 that evening, Sgt. Roary Miller and Police Officers Harold Milne, Anish Bhisey, Kyle Seper, and Damien Bates responded to Sinatra Park, on the central waterfront, "on reports of a man masturbating in front of people in the area, including children walking by."

Officers found a man who matched the description sitting on a bench, calling out to passing pedestrians, they said.
At police headquarters,"he continued his illegal behavior in front of officers," they said.

Vasquez had an open warrant from Hoboken for possession of controlled dangerous substances and possession of drug paraphernalia, and two warrants from Union City, police said.
He was taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, police said.
