
The National Weather Service has placed Hoboken on a flood watch, because of chances of local flooding due to heavy rainfall.
More rain, fog and thunderstorms are on the forecast, according to the Weather Service. Below is the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday:
Today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog before noon, then Patchy fog after 5 p.m. High near 60. East wind between 10 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog. Low around 54. East wind between 11 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Wednesday: Periods of showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Areas of fog before noon. High near 65. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
