The new Hoboken High School will start work on July 1. Toback said that Noreen Lazariuk, a vice principal at Montgomery Township High School, comes "highly recomended."
Lazariuk visited the Hoboken district recently, Toback said, to meet everyone and talk about the transition.
Lazariuk is Toback's first administrative hire as superintendent. He described her as having a "very motivated, positive presence."

Current principal Al Joy has been interim principal ever since former principal Lorraine Cella resigned in January 2010.
