New Jersey Symphony Orchestra To Come To Hoboken

The orchestra will perform for free at Pier A Park on Aug. 18.

The City of Hoboken has announced a performance by the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at Pier A Park on Aug. 18, 7:30 p.m.

The city's announcements instructs Hobokenites to "bring a blanket or a low back chair & a picnic basket."

The orchestra will play a full set—with intermission—and Gerald Steichen, whose long resume includes being conducter for the Boston Pops, will conduct.
