New Jersey Woman Slashed Woman In Face In Midtown NYC Attack: Police
She was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

NEW YORK, NY — A New Jersey woman has been arrested in connection with the slashing of a woman in the face with a kitchen knife on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, the New York Police Department said.
Ola Albanni, 52, of Hoboken, is responsible for the attack on a 65-year-old woman just after 6 p.m. on Friday before taking off on foot, a police spokeswoman said.
The woman sustained a cut under her eye and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where she was listed in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

Following the attack, police released surveillance images of the suspect showing her wearing a fuzzy black, short-cropped jacket, pink sequined shorts, and a bucket hat while carrying shopping bags.
Albanni was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon on Sunday morning, police said.
