Partial Uptown Roof Collapse Causes Head Injury

A partial roof collapse in a building on 13th and Garden Streets caused a head injury to a woman on Monday afternoon around 1 p.m., police said.

The ceiling collapsed on the woman's head, causing the injury, police said.

It wasn't immediately clear what caused the collapse of the second floor ceiling. Police said the woman was taken to the hospital with a laceration, police said.
