Police Arrests Alleged Drug Dealer in Hoboken Housing Authority

According to Hoboken Police reports.

Hoboken police arrested 35-year-old Thomas Lopez from Bayonne on Friday around 2:30 a.m., according to reports.

Lopez was seen exiting a building in the Housing Authority, although he had not signed in with the HHA precinct, police said. All visitors to the HHA are required to sign in. Lopez used to live in the Housing Authority, but was evicted, according to the police report.

According to the police report, Lopez is often seen in the Hoboken Housing Authority and the police report alleged that he has dealt drugs there.

Lopez was in posession plastic cigar like tube filled with alleged PCP on Friday, police said.

Police said that Lopez had three active warrants outstanding from Union City. Lopez is also an alleged drug dealer in the Housing Authority, police said.

Friday morning early, Lopez was seen getting into a car, according to the police report. In the car, police said, multiple air fresheners were seen hanging from the rear view mirror, obstructing the driver's view.

Police stopped the car and charged Lopez with defiant trespassing and wrote him a summons for an obstructed view in his car, according to reports.
