Santa Has Come to Hoboken
The city hosted a joyous holiday celebration on Thursday night, featuring Santa Claus and Elvis the Elf.

There's no hiding now, because Santa has arrived in Hoboken.
On Thursday night, the city hosted its annual holiday celebration, with performances by school choirs, the dance club, the Hoboken High School marching band and—of course—Elvis the Elf.

After several dance troups, musical numbers and a great rendition of jingle bell rock (with help from the Fuzzy Lemons), it was time to flip the switch and light up City Hall's decorations and the christmas tree.
Present in the audience was Councilman David Mello—enjoying his daughter's two performances of the night—and city spokesman Juan Melli as well as Mayor Dawn Zimmer, who welcomed everyone to the event.

Santa Claus appeared on the City Hall balcony as the lights went on to much cheer and jubilation. He didn't come down to the crowd. Maybe he was filling the stockings in City Hall with presents?
