School Board Appoints Early Childhood Advisory Council

The Board of Education appointed the members of the Early Childhood Advisory Council, whose terms expire in May 2012.

The council is made up of district parents, community members as well as representatives from the district who work for the early childhood program.

The Board of Education will post an additional call for parent representatives from all respective schools.

Mandatory Stakeholders: Adrianna Coppola, director of the early childhood program; Nellie Moyeno, CPIS; Annette Amaro, Mile Square Early Learning Center; Renee LiVecchi, Catapult Learning and Yvette Ypelaar, Hopes Cap.

District Representative: Beth Tomlinson, kindergarten teacher at the Brandt School. 

Parent Representatives: Julie Steinberg, Calabro/First Grade; Melissa Pasquariello, Pre-K 3/St. Francis; Stephanie Koskuba, Calabro/Kindergarten and Jackie Della Torre, Pre-K/The Rue School.

Community Representatives: David Celiberti and Anthony Oland.
