A 28-year-old Staten Island man was arrested early Sunday morning inside the W Hotel, for allegledly being in posession of marijuana and cocaine, according to Hoboken police.
Around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to a noise complaint in the W Hotel, according to reports. When officers exited the elevator on the ninth floor, police said, they smelled a strong marijuana odor.
Officers then knocked on the door of the room where the noise was coming from. When James Holtermann opened, police said, they found out that he was renting the room and saw a brown leaf cigar behind his ear, according to reports. When police searched Holtermann, reports said, they also found cocaine and he was arrested.
