Suspected Shooter Chased in Hoboken; Daycare on Lockdown for Hours
A hundred officers were at the scene at the Hoboken Business Center Friday afternoon.

The Hoboken Business Center was evacuated and its ground floor daycare was on lockdown for hours on Friday afternoon, after suspects of a Jersey City shooting ran into the building, according to sources who work there.
Police radio reported that around 2 p.m. the alleged shooters that fled to Hoboken were apprehended by Jersey City police.
As of 5 p.m. on Friday, the day care was letting people back in, but officers still stood in front of the building. Nearly 100 officers were present at the business center on Friday afternoon. Earlier in the day, much of the area was blocked off by police as parts of the building were evacuated, according to people present.

A shooting took place in Jersey City on Friday afternoon around 1 p.m., and according to one person at the HBC, the suspects ran down the hill from Jersey City Heights and went into the business center on 50 Harrison St.
