Two Rainstorms Expected To Drench Hudson County This Week
After weeks of fires and no significant rain in North Jersey, two periods of rain are predicted in the coming week. See which days.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — While the Garden State remains under a Red Flag Warning due to dry conditions that make the state vulnerable to fires, forecasters predict two periods of rain for this week.
The two periods are:
- The area has a 90 percent change of rain on Sunday evening. The region also may see some frost early in the morning Sunday.
- The region also may get a half an inch or more of rain all day Thursday.
The rain will not be significant enough to cause flooding, which usually occurs when at least an inch falls, particularly in a short time.

Meanwhile, both Trenton International Airport and Atlantic City International Airport have gone without measurable rainfall for more than a month. On Thursday, both broke records for consecutive days without measurable rainfall. The 34-day record in Atlantic City was set in 1995, and Trenton's record of 38 days without measurable rainfall had been set all the way back in 1865.
