Your Guide to Hoboken's New Recycling System

Hoboken recently switched to single stream recycling, which means you don't have to separate out your recycling anymore. This may sound simple—and it is—but there are still some things you should be aware of.

The Committee for a Green Hoboken sent out the attached guide, reminding residents what they can and cannot recycle.

The committee also wants to remind Hobokenites that "by recycling more we reduce our fees and increase our revenue, making Hoboken more sustainable financially and environmentally."

The committee also reminds residents that not plastic bags are non-recyclable and should not be put in with regular recycling.
