MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The holiday season has officially arrived.

With December set to begin on Sunday, there are plenty of holiday activities starting up around Monmouth County.

Old Fashioned Christmas On the Farm & Walk-Through Light Show
Now through Dec. 29, you can visit the Allaire Community Farm to experience their Christmas Village and light show. Attendees can visit indoor and outdoor petting zoos, take pictures with Santa in the museum, see holiday displays and more.

Hours run Thursday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Magic of the Lights
Now through Jan. 4, you can drive through the Magic of Lights display at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. The display is open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday.

Historical Cider at Historic Longstreet Farm
From 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, you can try hot mulled cider at Historic Longstreet Farm.

A traditional fall and holiday drink, hot mulled cider is typically made with wine or dry cider, various spices (cinnamon, cloves, or nutmeg) and a little sugar or sweet juice.

Breakfast with Santa
Santa Claus is coming to the American Hotel on Sunday. At the event, attendees will be able to take photos and selfies with Santa and enjoy breakfast and luncheon specialties.

Marlboro Multi-Cultural Day
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, you can take part in Marlboro’s Multi-Cultural Day at Marlboro High School. Attendees will be able to enjoy food, performances, crafts, cultural displays and more at the free event.
