Hazlet Board of Education President Thanks Voters

Hazlet Board of Education President Will Kolibas, Jr., sent a letter to the editor for the residents of Hazlet, thanking voters for support.

The following is an open letter to all Hazlet Residents:

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank those that exercised their right and went out and voted this past Tuesday, November 4th. I would also like to say thank you to everyone that put their faith and trust in me by re-electing me to the Board of Education. The past 6 years I have served with dignity and honor and I pledge that nothing will change. I will continue to watch that our tax dollars are spent in the most efficient way and that our children are afforded both safe and clean schools thus allowing them a proper and efficient education.

While I am saddened that fellow Board member Thomas Herman was not successful in his re-electing effort and that we are losing a hardworking dedicated Board member. Tom was always prepared and well versed in all the issues, his ability to look at both sides of an issue is outstanding and I will miss his perspective on educational matters.

I am looking forward to working with all newly elected candidates and hopefully they will bring their own unique perspective to the board and allow us to continue to serve the residents of Hazlet.
