The Hazlet Township Committee will honor Detective Lt. Charles McBride at its meeting this Tuesday. McBride retired in August. The meeting begins at 8 p.m. in Town Hall. <a href="http://www.hazlettwp.org/agendas-minutes/8.6townshipagenda.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">According to the meeting agenda</a>, the committee is set to approve capital improvement projects including roadwork and parks improvements. The Hazlet Planning Board is meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall. <a href="http://www.hazlettwp.org/agendas-minutes/August_8_PB.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">A proposal for a 90 foot telecommunication tower</a> behind the Red Oak Diner will be heard.
