Hazlet Day Will Have Inflatables, Petting Zoo On Saturday
There will be a total of eight food trucks serving hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, ice cream and more.

HAZLET, NJ — Hazlet Day is coming up this Saturday and the township has lots of activities planned.
The event will be held outdoors from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Veterans Park, located at 1776 Union Avenue.
"Hazlet Day brings our town together, and there is something for everyone," said Mayor Tara Clark. "We invite all Hazlet residents, and especially our newest residents, to come and enjoy this fun special day."

There will be a total of eight food trucks serving hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, ice cream and more.
Those who attend can compete at the Rock N Roll Race Cars, a game of remote-controlled cars.

"We are so excited to welcome back the Rock N Roll race cars," said Recreation Director Chris McManus. "The crowd loves them, and it's a really fun thing for parents and kids to do together."
For younger ones, there will be a petting zoo with a cow, donkey and goats and a choo-choo train ride in the park. First responders will show up with trucks for kids to explore.
There will also be inflatables like the Extreme Run Slide, the Wrecking Ball and the Bungee Trampoline & Rockwall Combo.
A professional pumpkin carver will the on-site demonstrating his art on large pumpkins and offering up tips.
Perna Dance Studio, United Martial Arts and the classic cover band Time After Time will provide entertainment throughout the day.
Parking will be available in the Swimming Club parking lot. Drivers must enter Veterans Park through Green Acres Drive, as the Union Avenue entrance will be closed.
