Hazlet Library Reopens Following HVAC Repairs
The library closed toward the end of June due to air conditioning issues. See details:

HAZLET, NJ — The Hazlet Branch of the Monmouth County Library System has officially reopened, the library announced on Monday.
The reopening comes after the library closed toward the end of June for air conditioning repairs.
In an online post, the library said Hazlet Township met with Monmouth County officials regarding the AC issues and said that they’re working on a plan to replace the AC units.

Though the current timeline for a new unit is six months to one year, the library said that, in the meantime, Hazlet Township has contracted with a company to temporarily fix the unit for the rest of the summer.
On Monday evening, the library posted that those temporary repairs have been completed and that the library has since reopened.

“The Hazlet Library has reopened and we are looking forward to seeing you again,” the Friends of the Hazlet Library said. “Stop by for our July events or just to grab some great beach reads!”

The Hazlet Branch of the Monmouth County Library System is located at 251 Middle Road, Hazlet.
