Hazlet Recreation To Host Bonfire & Howl-O-Ween Event

Attendees will be able to enjoy live music, food trucks, a dog costume contest and more.

HAZLET, NJ — Hazlet residents will have the opportunity to dress up with their dogs and enjoy Halloween-themed activities at Hazlet Recreation's Bonfire and Howl-O-Ween event on Oct. 19.

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy live music, food trucks, pumpkin carving, face painting, and more.

Costumes are encouraged for both families and pets in attendance, and prizes will be awarded for Most Creative Costume, Best Matching Dog & Owner Costume, and Best Spooky Costume.

For those who bring their dogs to the event, they must remain on a leash at all times, according to officials.

Shuttle bus transportation will be provided from Lillian Drive Elementary to the event for attendees.

In case of rain, the Bonfire and Howl-O-Ween will take place on Oct. 20.
