Holmdel District Adjusts After-School Schedules Ahead Of Storm

Holmdel school superintendent announces changes in activities for Tuesday, as major rainstorm is expected in the area.

HOLMDEL, NJ — With an approaching major rainstorm, the Holmdel school district announced it is cancelling evening events.

According to a notice by Superintendent J. Scott Cascone, here are the plans for Tuesday afternoon:

  • All evening school district events have been canceled.
  • All after-school activities will conclude no later than 4:30 p.m.
  • The Primetime aftercare programs will remain open until 6 p.m. Parents/guardians whose children attend these programs can expect additional communication from the program director, Mrs. Carducci.

"We will be closely monitoring the storm and its impact in collaboration with our partners at the Holmdel Township Police Department and emergency management," Cascone said.
