Holmdel Opens Cooling Center Amidst NJ Heat Wave
Residents are welcome to visit the center to cool off or charge phones and other electronic devices. See details:

HOLMDEL, NJ — As humidity and high temperatures soar throughout New Jersey, Holmdel Township has activated a cooling and charging center for residents to use.
The center is located in the main lobby of Holmdel Town Hall (4 Crawfords Corner Road) and will be open 24 hours per day until further notice, township officials said.
Residents are welcome to visit the center to cool off for as long as they need, and bring cell phones or other electronic devices for charging. Complimentary cold water will also be available.

In Central Jersey, weather forecasters are calling for a sunny and hot week, with heat indexes as high as 109 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday will see the highest humidity of the heat wave throughout the state, though Tuesday will have slightly warmer temperatures.
