Holmdel Road Closed In Area Of Crawfords Corner Road

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Road is closed in the area of Crawfords Corner Road, police said Thursday morning.

The closure was prompted by a car that struck a utility pole.

Police said that Verizon is on the scene.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible and follow the detour in place.

If traveling northbound, the detour is Holmdel Road to Van Brackle Road to South Beers Street, to Hillcrest Road to Holmdel Road. The opposite if traveling southbound.

The end time is unknown, police said.
