Monmouth Co. Had 3,521 Additional New COVID Cases Over Weekend

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Monmouth County had an additional 3,521 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, according to County Commissioner Director Thomas A.Arnone and County Commissioner Deputy Director Susan M. Kiley announced.

The cases were logged between Thursday and Monday.

During the same time period, two new deaths being reported related to COVID-19 were reported in Monmouth County.

All New Jersey counties still have a "high" level of transmission — including Monmouth —, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Monmouth County has COVID-19 vaccines available at the Montessori Children's Learning Center, located at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, with no appointment necessary on Tuesdays from 2 to 6 p.m.

Vaccines are available for residents who are at least five years old and live, work or attend school in Monmouth County.
