Ocean State Job Lot Opens Second Monmouth County Location

HOLMDEL, NJ — Ocean State Job Lot has officially opened its newest location in Holmdel.

Located just off Route 35, the discount retail chain store offers products ranging from household goods to apparel, pet supplies and seasonal products.

The new location is the chain’s eighth store in New Jersey and the second in Monmouth County (the first can be found at 600 Trotters Way, Freehold).

"We are so pleased to return to Monmouth County with this newest store,” James Hines, the regional director for Ocean State Job Lot, said in a previous statement. “We are always proud to have the opportunity to breathe new life into vacant spaces and look forward to welcoming shoppers into a big and bright Ocean State Job Lot.”

While Ocean State Job Lot’s newest location officially opened on Monday, the store is planning to host a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 23.

The event is set to begin at 9 a.m. and run until noon. Attendees will be able to enjoy giveaways, music, complimentary coffee and donuts, pictures with Santa Claus, kids' activities and more.
