One Steps Up to Challenge Three Holmdel Board of Ed Members

Three sports are available, four Holmdel residents are running.

Three incumbents will fight to keep their seats on the Board of Education this year, while one challenger will fight for a fresh face.

Current Board President Ana Vander Woude and Board Vice President Dennis Pavlik. Vander Woude will vie for a third term while Pavlik is looking for a second. Mike Sockol will also look for a second term on the board.

Peter Reddy, who lost last year's election by 480 votes, has thrown his hat into the ring again.

Reddy said last year, "My number one goal is to improve the quality of education township children receive ensuring we properly manage the taxpayer dollars we receive to do it. Leading soldiers in the Army and dealing with schools every day in my job today makes me positive that I can have a positive impact."
