Three Hazlet Men Arrested in Pot Distribution Bust

Investigators say over one of the men had over 25 pounds of marijuana stored in his Route 36 apartment.

Five people have been arrested and 50 pounds of marijuana along with $400,000 was seized in the bust of a pot distribution group.

According to a press release from the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office, five people were arrested and charged on April 29 and April 30 following an investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Gangs, Guns and Drugs Task Force.

The five arrested were allegedly dealing marijuana in various spots around central New Jersey, according to the release.

Mehmet Killic, 25, Eric Geraghty, 24 and and Crystal Lumley, 23, all of Hazlet, have been arrested and charged with first degree counts of possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute.

Bail was set at $250,000 for Killic; $200,000 for Geraghty, and
$175,000 for Lumley, according to the release.

James Oh, 26, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with second
degree charges of possession of marijuana and possession with intent to
distribute.

Jaewoo Masters, 22, of East Brunswick, was arrested and charged with third degree possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute. He was released after posting $25,000 bail, according to the release.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction and those accused should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
