Police: Holmdel Man With .241 BAC Asked NYPD for Ride Home
A Staten Island Advance report says John Grillo asked police, "Can you just drive me home? I had a lot to drink."

A Holmdel man was pulled over in New Dorp Beach, Staten Island last weekend according to local police.
"Can you help me out?" asked John Grillo, 49, of Holmdel, according to the Staten Island Advance. "Can you just drive me home? I had a lot to drink."
Grillo's blood-alcohol level was reportedly three-times the legal limit while driving his Mercedes Benz around 1:40 a.m., according to the Staten Island Advance.
In New York, a .18 blood-alcohol level warrants a charge of aggravated driving while intoxicated. Grillo's level was allegedly .241.
