Road Work Update For Middletown Road In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ — Road work is set to close part of Middletown Road in Holmdel on Wednesday, Holmdel Police said.
The road was previously set to close starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday. In an update posted to Facebook, police said the road will now be closed beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
While road work takes place, police said Middletown Road will be closed between McCampbell Road and Stillwell Road.

Emergency service vehicles and school buses will be allowed through the area during the closure, but officials said all other vehicles will have to go around.
Police are asking drivers to plan an alternate route or follow the posted detour signs.
