Small Business Saturday Will Support Monmouth Co. Businesses
With many businesses still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, support from the community is even more important this year.
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — Monmouth County officials are encouraging residents to support small businesses in their towns by shopping locally on Small Business Saturday.
“My fellow Commissioners and I would like to invite all residents to come out and help support Monmouth County’s small businesses and restaurants on Saturday, Nov. 27 for Small Business Saturday,” said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Division of Economic Development. “Small Business Saturday is a designated day to appreciate and support our local businesses in our community.

The organization is also putting together a Made in Monmouth vendor event on Dec. 4 in Manalapan.
"This will be another fantastic way for the community to come out and support our local businesses for the holiday season," said Arnone.
Residents can also visit the Grown in Monmouth website to find local Christmas Tree farms, restaurants, wineries/breweries, garden centers and more. The Grown in Monmouth program has been designed for Monmouth County growers to help maintain and promote the County’s agriculture industry.
"Along with County assistance for our small businesses we encourage our residents to provide their continued support and shop local year-round," Arnone also said.
