A routine traffic stop led to discovery of a reportedly stolen rental car and the arrest of Wayne Jones. Jones, 46 of Keansburg was pulled over in Holmdel on Sunday when police discovered his vehicle was reported stolen from a Hertz Vehicle Rentals in Asbury Park. Jones was arrested on a theft charge and cited for driving with a suspended license. Jones also had outstanding warrants from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office, Neptune City and Eatontown. According to inmate records, warrants included charges of not paying support and contempt of court. Bail was set at $7,586.
