Town Hall Access, Holiday Closure Updates For This Week In Hazlet

HAZLET, NJ — The Union Avenue entrance to the Hazlet Municipal Complex is closed this week as construction continues on the Cullen Center parking lot project, the township says.

To enter the Municipal Complex, use Green Acres Drive, off Middle Road. The closure will continue through Friday, June 16, and bad weather can affect how long the project takes.

S. Brothers Construction is continuing with curb installation in the remaining portion of the parking lot, north of the James J. Cullen Center. It will be repaved and re-curbed with a landscaped island, the township said in a notice.

Residents should be aware, too, that Town Hall this week is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but closed Friday for the Juneteenth holiday.
