Holmdel Road Intersection Re-Opens Following Crash

HOLMDEL, NJ — The intersection of Holmdel Road has re-opened following a crash that resulted in a downed traffic light, Police Lt. Robert Philhower said.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, police said a sedan collided with a dump truck at the intersection of Holmdel Road and Bethany Road.

The crash resulted in the dump truck hitting a traffic light, which then caused the light to fall to the ground, Philhower said.

There were no injuries in the incident, according to police, and the road was briefly closed so crews could resolve the issue.

The intersection is now open and all traffic signals are operational, Philhower said.
