Watershed Advocate To Present Holmdel Lecture Via Zoom

Citizens for Informed Land Use of Holmdel will present a speaker from the Watershed Institute to discuss the Swimming River watershed.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Protecting the Swimming River Reservoir watershed will be the focus of a presentation May 15 sponsored by Citizens for Informed Land Use.

The Zoom presentation will be at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15, according to CILU.

Michael Pisauro, advocacy director for the Watershed Institute, will share his expertise on watersheds, inland flooding, stormwater management, and how to better protect the Swimming River watershed, in which much of Holmdel is located, according to the organization.

He will also talk about the alternating effects of droughts and flooding as a result of climate change.
