Patch: What attracted you to the real estate industry, and how did you get started?

Keegan: I've been a professional musician for more than 25 years. When my son was born, I wanted to spend more time with my family and less time touring. I have managed some properties in the past and really enjoyed the process.

Patch: Do you have a specialty or niche market when it comes to your work in real estate?

Keegan: I work in the Weichert Office in Holmdel, but I have sold properties across the Jersey Shore. Through Weichert, I was fortunate to partner with one of their top-selling agents Tom Conners, and join Team Connors in the fall of 2019. Team Connors has sold over $30,000,000 in 2021, specializing in single family homes throughout New Jersey.

Patch: If you had to sum up your approach to real estate in five words, what would those words be?

Keegan: Honest, Knowledgeable, Reliable, Detailed, Supportive.

Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced as a real estate agent?

Keegan: The hardest part of being an agent is navigating the ups and downs of the market. My utmost goal is to help my clients get their dream homes and sometimes the fluctuating market makes it challenging. However with time, I have successfully been able to get my clients their homes, which is the best feeling in the world.

Patch: Is there a real estate deal over the span of your career that you have been most proud of?

Keegan: I am proud of every deal I have done. Seeing smiles and hearing how much my clients love their new home is always a proud moment.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?

Keegan: Giving my clients their keys and seeing the joy in their faces.

Patch: How do your techniques, strategies and services distinguish themselves from the competition?

Keegan: What I have learned is that it is all about attention to detail and following up. Also, knowing everything about the property and the community helps. However, my success as a musician gives me an edge. I know how to think “outside the box" and be creative. Time and time again, my clients have commented on how much they appreciate all my efforts. As Jim Weichert says: "It's People People People."

Patch: Do you have any advice for readers who are currently in the process of buying or selling a home?

Keegan: Trust the experts, know what you are looking for and be patient. Whether you are buying or selling a home, it is easy to get overwhelmed. It will take time, but once you find the right agent, they will lead you in the right direction.

Patch: Do you have any upcoming open houses or events in your community?

Keegan: Team Connors just listed a home in Holmdel. We had multiple offers and are now under contract. We are excited about the new listings coming up and can't wait to share them. Please email me at ekeegan@weichert.com for upcoming open houses.

Patch: How can Patch readers learn more about your work and business?

Keegan: You can find more information about me on my website. Or you can call me directly at 917-439-0986. I'm always available to have a conversation and maybe perhaps sing you a song.
