Spring 2026 Workshops — Join RISING STARS YTC & Shine on Stage!

Are you ready to shine? The curtains are rising for Spring 2026 — and now’s your chance to join RSYTC’s upcoming workshops and take the spotlight. Since 2018, Rising Stars Youth Theatre Co. has been a hub for creative energy and theatrical growth in the tri-state area. As Sussex County’s only youth theatre company dedicated exclusively to children and teens, we give young performers a stage to grow, belong, and shine.

🎭 What’s New This Spring

For Spring 2026, we’re offering two exciting musical theatre workshops:

• Disney's Descendants — for Junior Division (grades 2–8) -

• She Kills Monsters — for Teen Division (grades 9–12)

Deadline for registration/audition - midnight on January 4, 2026

⭐ Who Can Join

RSYTC workshops are open to all kids and teens (grades 2–12), whether they’re seasoned performers or completely new to theatre. We believe in welcoming every child with talent, enthusiasm — and a desire to learn. 

Our mission: to give every young person the chance to explore their creativity, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of — on stage and off. 

🎯 Why RSYTC Workshops Are More Than Just a Show

Participating in our workshops isn’t only about singing, dancing, and acting. It’s about real growth:

• Confidence & Communication: By performing in front of peers and live audiences, students learn public speaking, presence, and how to connect emotionally. 

• Teamwork & Social Skills: Musicals bring people together. Cast members collaborate, support each other, and build friendships while creating something magical. 

• Creative & Technical Growth: From character development to choreography, from sets to costumes — students get hands-on experience in all aspects of theatre. 

• A Safe, Dedicated Environment for Youth: As a theatre organization that works only with children and teens, RSYTC ensures that young performers grow among peers — no adult actors mixed in. 
  
  

💫 What to Expect: From Rehearsals to Opening Night

• Weekly rehearsals on Sundays (Junior Division: 1–4 PM; Teen Division: 4–7 PM), with additional rehearsals during “Tech Week” before the show. 

• Full-scale production: costumes, choreography, live performance — a real theatre experience. 

• A community of friends: kids from different grades and backgrounds working together, supporting each other, and having fun.

2. Audition: Ewveryone must submit a short audition video. 

3. Complete registration payment — once a role is offered, payment and costume fees must be submitted to secure your spot.
