Board of Ed. to Vote on Superintendent Appointment, Youth Appreciation Week and Memorial Day Weekend

Youth Apprecaition Week begins in Livingston on Monday. There will be special events and programs throughout the week celebrating and recognizing their achievements and contributions to the community. Click here for a listing of some of the biggest events happening this week. 

The Livingston Board of Education will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Livingston High School located, at 30 Robert Harp Drive. 

The Livingston Board of Education is expected to vote on whether to hire John Alfieri as district superintendent. Alfieri is currently the Superintendent for the Vernon School District. The full board agenda can be found in the photo gallery of this article. 

On Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Tom Doyle and Sandy Cory will perform a Les Paul-Mary Ford tribute concert at the Livingston Public Library, at 10 Robert Harp Drive. The concert will be based on the husband-and-wife musical duo who enjoyed immense popularity in the 1950s. 

Friday begins Memorial Day Weekend. Livingston schools and public offices will be closed in recognition of the day.
