Car Crash In Livingston, Van Found On Its Side: Police

The driver crossed three lanes of traffic, struck a utility pole and collided with a barrier, Livingston police said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ -- A car crash took place in Livingston last week, authorities announced Monday.

The Livingston Police Department released the following preliminary details about the crash, which happened at 2:24 p.m. on Thursday:

“Officers responded to the intersection of JFK Parkway and South Orange Avenue for a motor vehicle accident. Upon the officers’ arrival, a 2021 Ford Transit van was laying on its passenger side. The driver, a 31-year-old male out of Staten Island, NY, had crossed three lanes of traffic, struck a utility pole, and collided with the Jersey barrier.”

A police investigation continues, authorities said.
