Car Stolen During Livingston Home Burglary, Police Say
An attempted home burglary was also recently reported in the township, Livingston police said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A home burglary and an attempted home burglary were reported last week in Livingston, police say.
The Livingston Police Department released the following details about each incident:
Jan. 30 – “At 5:21 a.m., Livingston officers responded to a Stonewall Drive residence on a report of an activated burglar alarm triggered by the garage door perimeter and a window glass break. Officers conducted an exterior check of the residence and discovered an open window that led into the garage with multiple shoe imprints in the snow near the open window. The Livingston Detective Bureau responded and processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.”

Feb. 3 – “At 6:45 a.m., Livingston officers responded to a Notch Hill Drive residence on a report of a residential burglary and a stolen motor vehicle. Upon the officers’ arrival, they met with the homeowner, who advised that when he woke up, he discovered the rear kitchen slider partially open and the kitchen was rummaged through. It appears that the suspects took a set of keys to his 2020 BMW X7 and fled with the vehicle. The Livingston Detective Bureau processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.”
