According to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, the shooting happened on the 10-block of Kent Drive and claimed the life of a 39-year-old resident. Police are investigating the shooting, including the possibility that the gunshot may have been self-inflicted, a spokesperson said Monday. No additional information was immediately available.
