Free Skin Cancer Screening In Livingston: Local Events
A free skin cancer screening clinic will take place in Livingston on July 31. Appointments are required.

The Livingston Health Department, in conjunction with Jamie Price, PA-C from Advanced Dermatology, will offer a free skin cancer screening on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue in Livingston, on the first floor in Craft Rooms 1 and 2.
Skin cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, approximately one out of five Americans will develop some form of skin cancer before the age of 70.

Anyone can get skin cancer, but there are factors that can increase the risk for some individuals, such as a history of indoor tanning, multiple sunburns, a family history of skin cancer, and a lot of time spent outdoors for work or leisure.
If you have any concerns about spots on your skin that are changing in shape, size, or color, or that seem irregular, be sure to have them checked.
