A home burglary and an attempted home burglary took place on back-to-back days in Livingston this week, police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A home burglary and an attempted home burglary took place on back-to-back days in Livingston this week, police announced Tuesday.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers responded to a home on Windermere Court at 1:55 a.m. on Monday after getting a report about a burglary.
Police said the front door was damaged and a person or persons had entered the home.

The homeowners weren’t present at the time of the burglary. It isn’t known if anything was stolen from the residence, authorities said.
An investigation continues, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
An attempted burglary took place on Tuesday morning, police said.
According to the LPD:
“At 5:23 a.m., Livingston officers responded to a Boulderwood Drive residence on a report of a burglary in progress to the residence. The homeowner observed two suspects attempting to gain entry to the residence via a kitchen window. The suspects observed the homeowner and fled the scene in a white SUV.”
The Livingston Detective Bureau responded and processed the scene. An investigation is ongoing, police said Tuesday.
