From Legos To Yoga: Livingston Reveals Free And Low-Cost Kids' And Adult Classes In Fall
Livingston's Senior, Youth & Leisure Services has set up several free or low-cost classes for kids and adults this fall.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston's department of Senior, Youth & Leisure Services has set up several low-cost afternoon STEM courses kids can take this fall, often using Legos for engineering, and has a list of free adult and senior classes and programs for fall as well.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Livingston Township said SYLS has arranged the kids' engineering courses in conjunction with Built by Me.

For grades 2-4, kids can take Robotics and Coding from 4-5 p.m. once a week for six weeks in October and November.
For grades 3-5, they'll take Robotics and Coding with Scratch MIT.

They also added some Friday classes as of late last week.
According to the program flyer, kids work on projects using Legos.
The classes will take place at LSCC, 204 Hillside Ave. The fee is $155 per student, with 8 kids per class. View program flyer for class dates, photos, and descriptions, and check with the town for the Friday classes.
Adult Classes And Events
The fall slate of events for adults and seniors includes yoga, pilates, other fitness classes, and social events such as concerts and an ice cream social. Find out more here.
Pre-registration is required online at Community Pass or in person at SYLS office, 204 Hillside Ave., Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 8 a.m.-1 p.m., through Sept. 9.
