Livingston Community Players present "The Wizard of Oz"

Performances to feature Snickers, rescued canine in role of Toto.

When the Livingston Community Players present “The Wizard of Oz” the next two weekends at Mount Pleasant Middle School, audience members will be treated to a special performance by a special canine.

Snickers, a trained theater dog, will play the role of Dorothy’s dog, Toto.

Snickers was rescued by her owner and guardian William Berloni in January 2001 from the Cairn Terrier Rescue group of Connecticut and has performed numerous times in the role in national tours of the show since then – including her debut at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth, Texas in 2001 and New York’s Madison Square Garden in 2009.
