Livingston Historical Society Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Historian and author Carl Schneid will be on hand for a presentation Monday at the celebration.

The Livingston Historical Society is turning 50th and doing it with a bash.
The local historical group is planning a reception to mark its anniversary on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Sr Community Center, at 204 Hillside Ave.
The program, titled The Livingston Historical Society, 50 Years to Celebrate, will be presented by Carl Schneide. An historian and author, Schneide holds a degree in museum studies from American University in Washington, D.C. He has also written numerous articles, papers and books related to aviation history, and has lectured for many organization, including Yale University, the United States Air Force Academy, the Imperial War Museum, the Australian War Museum and the Turkish Historical Society.
