Schools Talk 'Raising Resilient Girls' on Tuesday

- Guest speaker Simone Marean will present Raising Resilient Girls, a discussion for school-aged girls on how to promote healthy self-expression and relationships, will be held Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at in the Mt. Pleasant Middle School auditorium, at 11 Broadlawn Drive. Livingston Municipal Alliance Committee and Livingston Public Schools will sponsor the discussion. For more information, click here.
- The Livingston Public Library's book sale is fully stocked and ongoing. Friends of the Livingston Public Library has more than 1,500 books available for purchase. Stop by the library during normal operating hours and pick up a summer book.
The Essex Water Color Club will be hosting an exhibit of the members' watercolor painting starting Tuesday at Art At 1275 Gallery, at 1275 Bloomfield Ave. in Fairfield, building 1, Unit 3. The exhibit will run through Nov. 1. This exhibit is open to the public and will include 40 paintings of various subjects, including landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
