Livingston Pools: Get In The Swim And Fill Out Town's Pool Survey
What's the future of pools in Livingston? The town will launch a 6-question survey for residents.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — In the past year, Livingston officials have discussed whether to fix a town pool or build a new complex. Now, they want to hear from residents.
In a release, they said the town will post a survey next week on the future of pools in Livingston.
The survey, which can be done on-line or dropped off at Town Hall, will have six questions and should take two minutes to complete, they said.

Pool Survey Press Release
The Livingston pools have been a significant part of outdoor summer enjoyment for residents for the past 60 years. Popular as places to cool off, relax and socialize, a new pool complex could continue to provide those same benefits for many decades to come.
Mayor Michael Vieira, the Livingston Town Council members, and Town Manager Barry R. Lewis, Jr., have requested that the Vision 20/20 Committee — a volunteer township committee — spearhead research into the possibility of a future pool complex. Their first critical step is to conduct a resident survey.
The new pool complex survey will take approximately 2 minutes and will be available from March 27th to April 16th:
Online:
- On the homepage of the Livingston Township website at livingstonnj.org/
- Pool Survey in the Livingston Public Library’s newsletter
Paper forms and survey drop boxes will be available at:
- Town Hall, 357 S. Livingston Avenue
- Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue
- Livingston Public Library, 10 Robert H. Harp Drive
The Vision 20/20 New Pool Complex Survey is made up of just six brief questions:
- What amenities would you like to see in a new pool complex?
- If these amenities were built/included, would you join the town pool? If no, what would make you want to become a member of the town pool?
- What non-swim amenities are important for you to enhance your pool experience?
- Do you currently use another pool facility or own an outdoor pool? If yes, where do you swim?
- What other suggestions do you have to improve the town pool?
- Are you a member of the town pool?
This is an opportunity for all to let their voices be heard by letting town know what they would like to see in a new pool complex.
Residents are encouraged to take the 2-minute survey — online at livingstonnj.org/PoolSurvey or in paper form at Town Hall, the Senior/Community Center, or the Library — and express their ideas and opinions.
