Livingston Steak House Gives Back to Essex Animal Welfare League

The Strip House will donate a portion of it's oven roasted dog bone gifts to the West Orange Animal Welfare League this holiday season.

Livingston’s landmark steakhouse, the Strip House, is serving up something special for puppy pals and giving back to canines in need this holiday season.

Just in time for holiday shopping, the restaurant is offering festively packaged, oven-roasted beef bones that make perfect presents for beloved dogs. Best of all, a portion of the $6 cost will be donated to the West Orange Animal Welfare League, a 501 (c)(3) all-volunteer organization that helps find forever homes for stray and abandoned animals across Essex County.

Volunteers at the West Orange Animal Welfare League work hard to help reduce the number of healthy animals euthanized every year.

“We’re glad to share Chef Bill’s Strip House treats with the canines in our community,” Matthew Glazier of The Glazier Group, owner of Strip House at Westminster Hotel said. “We’re delighted to help a worthwhile organization such as the West Orange Animal Welfare League as part of our community outreach program.”

The bones – each wrapped in kitchen paper and plastic and tied with a red ribbon – are available year-round for pickup at the restaurant. During the busy holiday season, it’s best to call ahead and reserve.
