Livingston Tennis Fan, 12, Holds Trophy At US Open Finals

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A young Livingston tennis fan recently got a chance to experience one of the biggest stages in the sport: the U.S. Open.

Last week, Isabelle DeLuccia of Livingston, 12, served as one of the trophy holders at the women's finals match between Leylah Fernandez and Emma Raducanu.

DeLuccia participates in the Garden State Tennis Center / West Orange Tennis Club tennis program.

According to a news release:

“This opportunity is part of the Net Generation (the USTA youth tennis community) Trophy Holders, which gives kids the unique opportunity to be in the biggest stage in tennis and meet tennis greats. Net Generation celebrates a game where no one sits on the sidelines. It promotes tennis as a catalyst for confidence, health, an active lifestyle, friendships and gaining skills for life on and off the court.”
