Livingston Workshop: ‘Caring For A Loved One With Dementia’

The free presentation will take place in Livingston on May 19.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Health Department and Recreation & Senior Services Department, in conjunction with Arden Courts: ProMedica Memory Care, will hold a free presentation about “caring for yourself and a loved one with dementia.”

The program will take place from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, May 19 at the Livingston Senior/Community Center, 204 Hillside Avenue (Tahaney Room 1 on the first floor).

“Join us for a free presentation on caring for a loved one with dementia and for yourself. This informative presentation will cover information about how to speak to and care for a loved one with dementia, how to care for a loved one with dementia during celebrations and holidays, and how to care for yourself as a caregiver.”

Registration for the free program is required. Register online through CommunityPass or in person at the Recreation & Senior Services office, 204 Hillside Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
