String Of Car Burglaries Reported In Livingston (See Locations)
The suspects arrived in a stolen car, police said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — A string of car burglaries and attempted burglaries took place in Livingston last week, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers responded to multiple reports of motor vehicle burglaries between 12:20 and 2:55 a.m. on Friday.
Homeowners on several streets reported car burglaries or attempted burglaries, including Knollwood Drive, North Livingston Avenue, Shadowlawn Drive and two locations on Royal Avenue.

Police said the vehicle that the suspects arrived in was determined to be a Hyundai Elantra that was stolen out of East Orange. That vehicle was later recovered in East Orange and towed to Livingston police headquarters for processing.
The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the burglaries, authorities said.
